TERC's ”Investigations in Number, Data and Space” is an innovative (and controversial) early-grades math curriculum used in more than 20% of the nation's classrooms.
TERC supports teachers who have chosen this product through a series of nationwide Workshops held throughout the summer. This databse-driven website provides information about the Workshops subjects, locations and schedules; information on where to stay and what to do in the host cities; and allows teachers to book a seat online.
My tasks included:
- Design of an updated ”Investigations Workshops” logo
- Complete design of the user interface.
- Design and presentation-layer coding of page templates in ColdFusion, CSS and XHTML.
- Working with a backend developer to integrate database content into those templates.
